VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY - Special Olympics
*

The Washington State Special Olympics is looking for referees to volunteer to support their Spring Games at PLU June 8th & 9th. These are great games for everyone, from seasoned refs to recently certified refs, looking for a little whistle time, or to give back to the community. “I have supported these games for 20+ years and they are the best games I do all year (lots of high fives, laughs and even a few hugs)”, says Cal Lovering. The athletes need you and everyone appreciates your support. If you have time Saturday and/or Sunday, even a half day helps. If you are interested in supporting this great event contact Cal Lovering, 253-686-0570 or email Cal.Lovering@comcast.net

Don't have ARs? There's a bonus in it!

Referees, did you know that if you are the center and you don't have a full crew you get a bonus? If you have only 1 AR, you get an additional 1/2 of the AR fee for the match. If you have NO ARs, you get a bonus equal to a full AR fee for centering! All of our clubs are on board for this bonus structure.
